NextGen Celebrates!
During each school holiday, we start the first hour with a discussion of the reason for the holiday. Students are then asked to create a LEGO build of their own design as an artistic representation of what they learned during the discussion.
In celebration of Indigenous Peoples' Day, each clasa begins with a discussion of Indigenous Peoples in the United States, with a special emphasis on the five recognized Native American tribes of the greater Connecticut region. These include - Golden Hill Paugussett, Mashantucket Pequot, Mohegan. Paucatuck Eastern Pequot, and Schaghticoke.

Activity Plan for the Day
School Recesses are a great time for kids to try something new. So we've setup STEAM Exploration Days during our Holiday School Recess Camps for this academic year. During the Morning Session, Students are given an option to choose between creating a project in Coding or Engineering. During the Afternoon Session, they can choose between Robotics or LEGO Design. Kids are then grouped together provided lesson plans appropriate for their Grade-level.
